Schutze, a Columbus native, was born in 1890. He recieved an education in architecture at the Georgia School of Technology, now known as the Georgia Institute of Technology. His career began at an architectural firm in Atltanta. An American classicist, he worked to design private residences, noteworthy schools, and churches. Lots of his inspirtation came from the Italian Renaissance. Pictured below are some of his works.

This is one of Schutze's most notable projects and can be found in Buckhead, Atlanta.

After 2010 restorations, the chapel is one of Schutze's most in tact designs.

This Italian style estate, often referred to as the "Pink Castle," is located in Bulkhead, Atlanta.
